COVID-19 Update 3-10-23

As our nation, state, and local community cope with the novel coronavirus pandemic (COVID19), we want to provide you with this update regarding its impact on Royal Springs Health Care Center. We share this information because we believe it is important to everyone’s health and well-being to keep our residents, families, staff, and the public fully informed. Visitation is allowed in any unit at all times.

As of today 3/10/2023, there are 14 cases of residents for COVID-19.

To add a level of protection, we are committed to facility-wide testing on all residents and staff regardless of the vaccination status in collaboration with local public health departments due to COVID-19 outbreak. We also provide COVID-19 vaccines for both staff and residents with the help of our in-house pharmacy or CVS. We also offer flu vaccines on everybody. We understand the importance of knowing the status of our residents, employees, and essential health care providers. In this new world of COVID-19, rest assured we are aggressively treating and responding to potential community exposures by conducting routine testing of all our residents and staff or until the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) instructs otherwise.

  • We are working closely with the state and local health departments and continue to follow their guidance.

  • We have and will continue to purposefully augment our systems with new ways to operate that will enhance protection and prevent the spread of the virus to both staff and residents by doing the following:
  • Screening staff and essential medical personnel before entry and continuing to follow CDC guidelines prohibiting visitors into the facility
  • Providing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) based on the staff’s respective roles and assignments within the facility.

  • We have created a separate observation unit. Initially, all new admissions, who have tested negative for COVID-19, are admitted to this specifically designated area within the facility. The patient can be quarantined, tested, and closely monitored for any signs or symptoms associated with the virus prior to being assigned to a standard room.

Providing for the safety and well-being of our residents and staff is our paramount priority. We especially wish to commend our staff for their steadfast commitment to the care and security of our residents.

We would also like to thank our local hospitals, managed care organizations, local police departments, fire departments, transportation companies, and local businesses for the tremendous support we have been given as we navigate through this pandemic together.

Please be assured we will continue to provide you with regular updates when we have new information to share.

As always, we encourage you to contact us directly if you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Infection Preventionist.

We value the trust you place in us to care for your loved ones and greatly appreciate your continued support and understanding during these unprecedented times.

Thank you,

Why don't you give me your direct line Marc, giving me the operator number and asking for you so I can leave you a VM so you will never call me back. Please DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. I have been trying to get ahold of the doctor for a month! Never calls me back. I'm waiting for a transfer for my mom for Medicaid but it's impossible to get ahold of them as well. Stay clear of this place. They abuse and neglect the patients that can't speak like my mom. Also we are only allowed video calls 3x a week for 15min and if you miss Anna's or Deenas call they rudely make it your problem. Please I beg you stay clear of this place, PARENTS LIVES MATTER!!! Can you imagine 15 minute call. And the activity person never wakes up the patient or puts your face in front of your parent or loved one so how can the see you!? Just digusted and appalled.
